Award for Xavi and Casillas
Xavi and Iker Casillas won the Prince of Asturias Awards 2012 (Premios PrÃncipe de Asturias) for the sports category. Both the Spanish national team star will receive the appreciation in a ceremony at the Asturias, Oviedo, on 26 October.
The award is given to individuals or organizations from around the world to have achieved outstanding in his field. Of the eight categories, exercise is one of them. If last year's Haile Gebrselassie (Ethiopia) from athletics came out as the winner, this time Xavi and Casillas who triumphed.
